Initiating Change in Our Neighborhoods Community Development Corporation (ICON CDC) is a 501(c)(3) community-based, not for profit, organization located in Los Angeles, in the community of Pacoima (in the Northeast San Fernando Valley).

ICON CDC facilitates processes by which communities, neighborhoods, households, and individuals empower themselves politically, economically, and socially.

ICON CDC firmly believes that a multi-layered approach is necessary to effectively address the problems pervading communities like the Northeast San Fernando Valley as well as other communities throughout Los Angeles.

Thus, ICON CDC engages in activities that foster economic development and homeownership in these communities by providing bilingual workshops and technical assistance to individuals. Moreover, ICON CDC addresses the problem of low civic participation and political awareness by engaging in ongoing voter registration and citizenship campaigns.
